2020 Augusta Whalesong cancelled due to COVID-19
Unfortunately, due to precautions regarding large gatherings of people during the COVID-19 outbreak, the 2020 Augusta Whalesong event has been cancelled. We are hoping to hold a similar event later in the year around September/October to farewell our cetacious visitors.

Cultural Workshop & Walking Tour
Saturday June 1st – 11am to 1:30pm
Join Wadandi Custodian Iszaac Webb of the Undalup Association with an in depth discovery talk of the traditional history of the far South West.
Including whale stories and songs, a light lunch and finishing off with a walking tour of significant Cultural sites along the Blackwood.
$25pp + booking fee.
Guided Lighthouse Grounds Tour
Sunday June 2nd – 2:30 to 3:30pm
Guided grounds lighthouse tour and short movies with lighthouse keeper and Augusta historian Paul Sofilas. Enjoy coffee and cake after an immersive history lesson on the early European settlement of Augusta, including the town’s whaling and naval history. Both tours include coffee & cake

Sunday June 2nd 9am – 2pm
Includes the traditional annual Blessing of the Fleet, Welcome to Country from the Undalup Association and Wadandi custodians, abalone cooking demonstrations and tastings, live music, whale watching tours, skiff display, mermaids and street performers, great variety of local and regional stallholders, Cultural childrens activity marquee, community information and emergency services displays.

Cape to Cape Track Flora & Fauna Guided Walk
Monday June 3rd – 9 to 11am
Venture out from wild and windswept Quarry Bay on Cape Leeuwin with guides from the Friends of the Cape to Cape Track for a once in a lifetime walk of the breathtaking flora and fauna of one of the world’s unique biodiversity hotspots. Finish with a relaxing morning tea at the lighthouse cafe with live music.
